6. Splendid Prince's Island Park at Calgary ♥♥♥

Prince's Island is situated in the North Downtown of Calgary. This park is developed on the Bow River and its access for tourists and residents is through footbridges.

A nice and shady park ♥♥♥

We went to Calgary downtown by means of C-train. From the south, we rode Somerset route and it was very convenient. There are no worries at the back of our minds that we'll get lost or something because all stop stations are announced and appeared on the screen.

5. Relaxing at Stanley Park, Calgary ♥♥♥

Going to park is very relaxing especially when everywhere is splashed with the first leaves of summer. One day, my family was invited by our friends to dine and roam around the Stanley Park. It was only a few minute drive from our apartment.

Stanley Park is a 52 acres land that has access to the Elbow River and borders Stanley communities and Park Hill in Southwest Calgary. It offers a variety of activities such as picnics with BBQ pits, swimming on pool, gazing at the flower beds, fishing, canoeing, and rafting. It is also an avenue for children who want to enjoy playgrounds and people who are interested on tennis, bowling, and baseball sports.

As we enter the park, I saw how tall and special are those trees in full summer. I chilled with the gentle wind that brushes my skin. The sight of woods is so comforting to my senses. The blue sky and cotton clouds gave its way to a streak of sunlit in this park. This charming scene simply blew me away. God is the greatest artist of all! ♥♥♥

Wearing our cool shades and posing at the center of children's bicycles ♥♥♥.

Children appreciating the clear water in this park ♥♥♥.

It's a sunny day yet the cool breeze makes me shiver in a good way... ♥♥♥

Tatay says the water was so cold to touch ♥♥♥.

The other side of the river where people usually dine for lunch or dinner ♥♥♥.

As for our lunch; we ate rice, beef steak, dried fish, salted mangoes, and tomatoes ♥♥♥. Unfortunately, I was not able to capture some photos.

The three of us just roam around the park and tried to explore the silence behind these trees and woods. It's a perfect place to unwind and wipe your worries away.

Here is a close shot of their tennis court ♥♥♥.

4. Long Drive to Radium Hot Springs at British Columbia

After our breathtaking explorations at Banff Gondola, we continued our journey in the village of Radium Hot Springs. From Banff, it took us another 2 hours to reach this village. I made a little research about the place and I found out that it is located in the East Kootenay of British Columbia and approximately 800 people live here.

According to some write ups, Radium is bordered by the Columbia River Wetlands, the largest continuous wetlands in North America. It is considered as a walking town wherein the residents and visitors can enjoy walking in many trails and paths. Some of the famous activities are  golfing, skiing, canoeing, hiking, white water rafting, bird watching, snowmobiling, fishing and a lot more. This village is a lovely home! ♥♥♥

Again, I felt the adrenaline rush as my eyes gazed on the other facet of our trip. I am very excited to see what hot springs look like in Canada. Along the way, I noticed that the temperature is getting hotter although not really that hot as compared to tropical countries. I thought maybe it is the effect of hot springs. Before we reach Radium, we passed through many attractive views that are worth a shot.

White-tip and rocky mountain, majestic and tall ♥♥♥

Some sort of rocky sanctuaries ♥♥♥

A beautiful landscape of mountains ♥♥♥

Two more kilometers before reaching Kootenay National Park ♥♥♥. The roads are getting steeper than our usual paths. Temperature is getting warm! ♥♥♥

How fresh is the smell of these luscious pine trees ♥♥♥.

How I love mountains!!! ♥♥♥ They are tall and strong like the castles in my dreams!!! ♥♥♥

The snow peaked mountain is pure as a crystal!!! Priceless!!! ♥♥♥

While we were busy chatting inside the car, we were bombarded by such a delightful surprise! Whoaaa ♥♥♥. Here is a rocky mountain bighorn sheep at the middle of the road?!!!

Not only that, my mom pointed to our right that there are flocks of bighorn ewe on the stony surface. At first, I didn't see it because their colors almost camouflaged with the rocks.

Believe it or not! This event caused many visitors to make the most of that moment until we all heard a siren from a patrol car! We didn't realize that it already created some sort of traffic in this long and wide road. We made our way to take our last look at these animals and swiftly head to our real destination. Lols ♥♥♥.

Finally, this is the landmark that shows that we are entering our much awaited village!

Welcome to Radium Hot Springs! ♥♥♥

Here are rocky walls in the height of our emotions ♥♥♥.

The hidden gem in this village ♥♥♥.

As we get out of the car, we checked in at the Prestige Radium Hot Springs Hotel.

We fixed our things first and rest a little before heading to the hot springs. It was quite a tiring day! Just perfect for this comfortable room ♥♥♥

After some minutes, everyone is excited to jump at the hot spring. On our way to it, we first pay for the entrance and took this advantage to pose for some cool shots.

Later we found that Radium hot springs is a pool structure. Before soaking on it, everyone is advised to take a shower on a certain room. The moment I opened the shower and the splash of water touched my skin, I shouted and cried aloud. I did not expect it would be that hot and I thought my skin was burned! That was an exaggeration! Lols ♥♥♥. But frantically speaking, we all showered quickly but as we look on the other visitors- mostly whites, they seemed to like the temperature. So, this is Radium Hot springs! ♥♥♥

Pretty hot shots at the pool!

We all got tanned skin even for some minutes of soaking in the pool. What is distinct about this hot spring is the smell of radium and the not so common temperature level to the hot springs we Filipinos knew.

Here are other views and amenities near the pool ♥♥♥.

It didn't take us too long before we get back to our hotel rooms. We spent overnight to really savor our stay at this village and we all regained strength the following day.

On Day 2, we had our breakfast on our rooms. We woke up early especially my dad who was awakened by the sight of ram and some hailstones from the window. He kept bugging us that he saw a snow but in fact it was a hail. ^_^,

We tried to explore the outside of hotel and we found an area designed like a station of the cross.

The agony of our Christ Jesus... He died for you and me because He loved us even before the world begun!

What I love about these shots is the light that reflected from above. I felt the favor and anointing of our maker in the early morning sun ♥♥♥. What a brand new day!

We went back to the hotel and packed our things. Unfortunately, we need to go back to Calgary as soon as possible to return the car we rented.

One last look at the spectacular mountains along our way from Radium. ♥♥♥

And this is my favorite shot for my mom ♥♥♥. Simply magnificent!

And so we drove back along these mountainous heights that meet the sky. Everything was timeless as the sweet memories we shared are kept inside my heart. How can't I thank God ♥♥♥...

I spoke my own stories and so I feel renewed in this perfect harmony ♥♥♥.
